VOID: NO AFTERLIFE

You have now just taken your first glimpse into the first page of Void: No Afterlife. Yes, it is short, simple and doesn’t tell you much so how about a little bit more information to help you out. The events of this preview take place during the height of Sire Vengeance’s power and influence among the Darkstar race. As one of the oldest, most powerful and well respected Darkstars, Sire Vengeance decides to take it upon himself to do what no other has been able to do before him; destroy the Alpha Universe. His project to create a weapon of immense power is only known to a privileged few within the Darkstar high council and even they don’t know the full extent of his genius plans.

Void was created as a weapon to undo all of creation. This powerful immortal was to be the apex of Darkstar power and was to do the will of the Dark Architects. Void was the Darkstars’ victory but quickly became the universe’s nightmare. Instead of a creature with the ability to undo creation, Void became a god with the ability to create other immortals. Eventually, Sire Vengeance’s hold upon his creation vanished and Void was let loose upon the cosmos with free will completely intact.

Void: No Afterlife is a web-comic project that we will be working on to be published on The Origin Saga website. It will be comprised of 6 issues with each issue running about 22 pages. The purpose of this preview was simply to give you a rough estimate of what you can expect content wise as far as quality and storytelling. To make this project a reality, we will need the help of those who would be interested in seeing this a reality. We will be providing more information in the future so that you know exactly what will be going on. In the next preview, we will be providing the second page with a ton of information regarding the entire project. We hope that you have enjoyed this small glimpse into what can be and that you will support us through the whole journey of making this project a reality. For now, the best thing you can do is to spread the word about this through social media and word of mouth.

Void: No Afterlife synopsis:

Void: No Afterlife will cover a couple of billion cosmic years of history and will focus on an immortal called Void who was created by Sire Vengeance as a tool to bring about the end of the universe. But Void has other plans and Sire Vengeance and the council of Dark Architects (the Darkstar ruling council) finds themselves having to seal Void in between dimensions where he’s trapped for millions of cosmic years only to be freed and wreak havoc across the cosmos. It’s up to Sire Death and Eternal Hope to end Void’s reign of terror.

What does the No Afterlife part of the title mean? Well, Void is able to birth immortals of his own and create his own immortal empire to dominate the universe. The catch is…he needs a certain type of fuel to power his celestial machine to birth immortals. This machine is powered by the souls/spirits of the dead. All of them. All across the universe. Anyone who dies is automatically absorbed by the machine to power it. Mortal and immortal alike. There is nowhere in the universe to hide one’s soul. Void’s ultimate goal…to reach the actual realm of the dead (the afterlife) and absorb every soul that has ever or will ever exist in the universe. There will be no afterlife for anyone, ever.

Characters within the web-comic page 1 preview:

  • Sire Vengeance
  • The Dark Architects
  • Darkstar messenger
  • Darkstar guards
  • Darkstar mortal scientists
  • Void

Everything seen within page 1 is a work in progress which is subject to change during actual production. So characters, designs, the script and more will change in the final web-comic. This preview is for promotional reasons only.
