A Titan’s rise to power is a long and vigorous journey. Titans are the most hardened and well trained immortals in the entire universe. Born within a militaristic society, over time a Titan is developed into an unstoppable fighting force.
The Ascender
All Titans are expected to rise to some degree of power. Their path to ascension eventually leads them in different directions calling for a set of diverse skills. But all start at the level of Ascender. At this level, young Titans learn introductory magic, military strategies, various weaponry, armor forging and basic combat training. From the level of Ascender, a Titan can then branch off into two directions: Defender or Overseer.
The Defender
The first path that can be taken after Ascender is that of a Defender. A Defender is a front line combatant that can take an immense amount of punishment. The Defender’s armor at this level is built to absorb damage as well as dish it. At this rank, Defenders are usually grouped into squad sized elements in order to collectively strengthen their cohesiveness, giving them a much larger advantage. And alone in battle, a Defender is more than capable of taking on multiple enemies at a time. The Defender is the Titan war machine’s go-to asset in a time of battle. Those that excel in this rank are able to ascend to the top tier known as Guardian.
The Guardian
Only the best Defenders obtain this level of power as the path of a Defender ends with acquiring the rank of Guardian. Considered to be the hardest to kill out of all Titan classes, the Guardian is a walking damage absorber that most immortals wish not to face. Protectors of the Titan race and known to wear the heaviest types of armor out of all ranks, the Guardian is a force to reckon with. There are documented historical accounts where it has taken up to ten immortals at once to take down a Titan Guardian.
The Overseer
The second path that can be taken after Ascender is that of the Overseer. This is a path for those who wish not to soak up damage, but deal it. At this rank, light armor, powerful weapons and masterful strategies are an Overseer’s best assets. Experimenting with new technology designed to deal immense amounts of damage to their enemies is what makes the Overseer so deadly. Overseers are known to carry an vast amount of weaponry within their armor storage to cater to any situation. Overseers are the Titan’s hit and run strike force. Any Titan who possesses extraordinary skill in this rank ascends to the elite level of Overlord.
The Overlord
The most skilled of Overseers eventually obtain the rank of Overlord. Like the Guardian, this is the top tier of rank for this branching path. Overlords are master damage dealers with arsenals of weapons equivalent to a small army. The Overlord’s armor is less focused on soaking up damage as they are more concerned with weapon storage and customization. An Overlord possesses some of the most devastating weapons within the Titan fighting force. Their fighting agenda is to deal the most amount of damage to an enemy in the least amount of time.
The Czar
The ruler of the entire Titan race is known as the Czar. This title is granted only to one of royal blood who has shown to be the most powerful of all in the Titan Royal Court. The last known ruler was The Czar Ruin who fell in battle to Sire Magnus and became enslaved to Sire Death.
Titan Royal Court
Bound by royal blood, these Titans are destined to lead their people to glory and victory. The Titan Royal Court consist of all Titans eligible for the throne, but only one can obtain the title of Czar.
Symbols of power
A Titan’s armor is what separates them from all other immortals in the universe. It is a special type of Celestial technology forged by cosmic materials and Titan magic. No other armor type in the universe is as unique or as powerful as Titan armor. Every Titan is taught from a young age the particulars of armor crafting. And every Titan constructs their own individual armor as it is a representation of personal skill and pride. No two armors are ever alike.
